Well Dane, not sure if you've been around for longer than you've been registered but some of the ballers here went crazy over these and the white boots, and I guess they still do.

For me pure white boots is a bit ... ( not going to say it to cause more discussion), but they are beautiful as objects. I prefer dirty white/ off white for shoes myself.

I'm not as young as I look.

They are beautiful objects, yet ugly shoes. I have a thing against anything white though.

As I wrote earlier, I think the last/toe shape, combined with the thicker, almost protruding sole really make for a beautiful shoe. But that creasing fucks everything up, I really think it ruins the design.

I love them personally. The shape is perfect to me. And as a fan of decay I love the creases like any other imperfection. But I hate them "fresh", beat up white footwear is what I love, that kind of what Beau posted. Without the dirt and all that white footwear just always looks out of place to me. Same goes for white sneakers in my case.

I find it amazing that Dane voices an opinion on EVERYTHING....CONSTANTLY.
his name appears in virtually every thread I open. it must be marvelous to possess extensive knowledge/opinions,in all areas AND be compelled to share said knowledge/opinions with everyone,always. 1400 posts in a year. it begs the questions "what did dane do before discovering sz? what vehicle did he use for his evangelism pre sz?"

I never take shots like this but Dane felt obliged to take a free one @ me awhile back and the quoted post seems to echo my sentiments. we're even now and we can put a lid on this... I hope so anyway.

White footwear, in any case, is a lot like everything else- your taste is your taste. Some men like clams, others like oysters. Still others like beat up shellfish with an algae patina. 'Tis the nature of the game.
