I had this exact blazer and the p2p sounds a touch small for the Large. I am a large 48 to slim 50 and was in between L and XL in this piece.

There has been much debate on sizing. BBS shoulders and chest seem to fit a touch broad but the arms and torso are super slim.

I am a 48 and I own a BBS Blazer in size L. The Shoulders fit perfect, but it's a little too big around the waist. You might take that in consideration if you have a slim waist.

Adding to the BBS blazer pursuit.

I'd normally wear a 44 for a fitted look or a Julius size 1, or an Xs, but with BBS I wear a size S and it's TIGHT. I like the look of a BBS jacket in size S, but an XS is probably too small, even for me. In fact, I could probably wear a size M, but that just seems impossible so I'm always afraid to pay the cash and try it.

So, I'd say a size L = 48 for sure. If you are size 50 you need an XL.
