i'm not sure which fabric this is, but i still think this is a great deal. it seems like m.a+ has been in a bit of a slump around these parts. i guess thats partly because SZ has basically become the rick owens show lately, and partly because m.a+ has been set on repeat for quite some time now. but the individual pieces themselves are still exceptionally high quality and very very cool.

these are fair points. a major part of this hobby/interest whatever you want to call it is the ownership experience. and sadly a lot of people that admire the work and used to be able to own it are now priced out of the game completely.

I've really like some of them, and LUC in general, but the prices are out of hand.. even used. I pretty much give up, I'm not going to pay the prices they are going for.

agreed. the quality is just not there. the fabric are beautiful but i dont want pants that i cant bend over to tie my shoe in and cardigans that stretch out to gandalf proportions. while i immensely appreciate the design that goes into the label, along with other beloved labels here, it seems like they are so fragile that i dont really get the point.

Yup... I have the fly-yarn j-pants... Chinorlz was kind enough to sell them to me for a more than fair price. I have had seams repaired twice. The fabric, color and design are beautiful but the stitching could be better. I have a pair of Zam's minimalist j-jeans and there is no contest, Zam's pants are much nicer, the fabric is awesome too... heavy cotton from vintage drapes... and construction is bombproof. I had to have them custom made for my big legs but even then price was a bit less than half of LUC's retail.
