    Re: Yohji boots

I am on to these, thank you so much DBC!
I have been looking for a pair of sharp but slightly quirky boots for a long time. I think these will age gracefully. I just hope they'll fit!

Forget all that buried in horsedung, wholemeal-looking Carpe/CCP business. These are boots. If I had feet this size (39) I would buy them in a heartbeat.

        2008 Lanvin...or not

Not so much a good find...but...

Is this an old Lanvin shirt being sold as from the latest collection? The style and label suggest so to me, but it's attracting bids...

Yeah, I don't buy that... Happens a lot with brands that get a designer/high-end revival, like Balenciaga, YSL, and Dior to a lesser extent.

That would make the description blatant fraud in this case.

A while ago this suit was listed as 'Alber Elbaz'.

It doesn't look like anything from the recent collections to me, but in that case the label in the photo does look like revamped Lanvin. I didn't risk bidding; I didn't even like the suit.

I've noticed old Christian Dior shirts listed as 'Hedi Slimane' and 'Dior Homme'.

Re: Yohji's women's shoes for Cheap size 36

Interesting early issue Carpe Diem 3 button leather jacket with "distressed" collar. The price is pretty low though if this is your thing:

This must be a VERY early issue piece. Lovely leather as always though!

                    CCP overlock denim

These jeans fit insanely good! I tried them on at Maxfield when they had em and they are one of the best fitting pair of jeans...

This is old. I have a shirt from the 90's sold at Neiman Marcus that has the same tag.

Hey Cas. How does the sizing run on this pair? Is it true to size or does it run small?

                          Re: CCP overlock denim

They run a little big if anything. I think when I tried them on,I tried on my regular size (50) and they were a little slouched, which is how I like my jeans. The seller lists them as a 30" waist for a 44, which seems on the big side. They are rather skinny in the legs though.
The crotch area provides for a very interesting fit unlike any pair of denim I have tried on. Honestly, they were expensive at Maxfields, but sometimes I regret buying them because they were so damn cool!

Are you certain those are skinny in the legs? The pictures seem to suggest otherwise.

They might not be, or it could be the picture, I don't know. I know the ones I tried on were skinny (atleast for me [73]) and they had the same crotch and pocket detailing as the ones being sold. But maybe there's a more relaxed version?
