i'm pretty sure thats not the horse leather jacket. i agree with chinorlz that that is a different leather, possibly piggy.

y'all could very well be correct, as the grain looks more like pig than what I'm used to seeing of horse. But on the same note, I've never handled pig that looks as beefy as that.

either way, pig or horse or whatever else it may be, its a gorgeous jacket, classic.

sorry i never really looked at the photos simply because it wasn't my size, i had always assumed these jackets were produce in horse or heavy calf/cow. But looking at the pics its clearly pig skin which tbh i love, m.a+ used it in some of his early collections and the grain just appeals to me when it comes to pork belly.
Like what other animals said its a great jacket for a great price, someone should have snapped up the BIN.

Just a note, I'm fairly certain that the sleeves on this have been altered. I own what I would assume is the same piece (work of 2000 white leather button shirt) and the sleeve is longer and features a classic button cuff w/ silver carpe buttons.

You know what I think you're right. That looks different to any CD leather shirt I've seen. Explains the price I guess...

Agreed, I'm guessing we both saw it the same place (RO Miami?). It's very nice, the fabric is quite special in person. Also, those SS15 trench coats are looking goooood.
