Just as a side ntoe, this pair has been for sale for months now. The metal thingy on the sole (sorry for my lack of vocabulary depth) was broken and it seems he put one new soles to hide this. That being said, you can click on the "old" folder to access the olde rpicutres that show this.

The term you are looking for is shank. They sometimes break on Poell's shoes because they are "women's" shanks according to my cobbler and not meant for full sized men's shoes. I've replaced one on a pair of my tornadoes, but in doing so, had to have a hole drilled directly through the boot to affix the new rivet.

^^Best pair of boots I've ever owned. Have worn my so much that they are almost ready to abandon. I mean, like 6 years? of serious wear and tear and I still don't want to let them go. Killer boots that look edgy and can also be worn under as a formal shoe if under nice pants. With the heel and the lace up twist, they are unique with some substantial leather.

Highly recommended and a good price...Anyone know of a pair in size 1?

I'm not sure why everyone is seeing different prices, the screenshot I posted shows $353 CAD which should be $304 USD or €249.

You're seeing different prices because they are not discounted in Europe yet - things here go on discount after all the good things are gone, it is to this day beyond me how this can be good business but I guess it is, somehow.
