      LOL

for a moment i thought it was $500 USD.
$50 USD is not expensive for overseas shipping

the base price to ship almost anything overseas with tracking is about $30 -$40 USD in order to be able to have the item arrive timely and to provide tracking. its overly expensive IMO but thats what it is......the best savings are had when multiple items are bought which significantly take the price per item down

Ssense is in Canada - where the postage rates are astronomical for international shipping.

I run a mail order business in Canada primarily shipping music and to ship a package 500 grams-1kg is $38 overseas, and that's with no tracking. With tracking it's about $50, so it's an accurate cost of postage for a t-shirt in a box.

Can someone please pick up the last double zips at Ssense to save me from this agony.

For once, I am happy about NAFTA free shipping and no tariffs to the US.

although i generally do not get taxed on packages from the US, i thought qualification for NAFTA tax exemption is only for products made in Canada/USA/Mexico?

Right, as long as the product is manufactured in Canada/US/Mexico (NOT sold) it falls under NAFTA.

Ah, thanks for correcting me. Well, so far no penalties on my Ssense orders (well, order) - let's see how this one turns out.

yup, NAFTA only applies to products made in NA - if you're not getting hit on your ssense orders then that means you've already paid for duties in the item price [ie - they ship DDP as opposed to DDU].

a shame because it really puts off international customers, especially when you just want to buy something small like a t-shirt as you mentioned.

MyHabit is starting to inch towards the Yoox business model (as well as that of brick and mortar "outlets") where the original retail price is overinflated to make the listed price look like a "deal."

Still some discount off of the real MSRP though.

They operate on more or less the same business model after all.
