My sentiments exactly. Same goes for Ann. A shame, really... [70]

It's a complete travesty. It seems like every major Belgian designer is outsourcing these days: Dries has been doing it since the dawn of time (partly justified because of his ethnic embroidery schtick), but some like Ann and Raf are obviously just doing it to cut costs. Even Veronique Branquinho who I felt had the best production quality among her contemporaries started making her suits in Romania and t-shirts in Turkey. It's not the country of origin that spoils the deal, it's the immediately noticeable drop in quality. Makes you wonder if it's really that hard to survive and turn a profit relying solely on Belgian manufacturers.
Btw, does anyone know if Dirk Schonberger has officially gone kaput now that he's hired as the creative director of JOOP? Haven't seen/heard anything on him for at least a year....and he's always been my favourite Belgian.

Yes, he's out - this is from primary sources. [70]Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months - Oscar Wilde

HL SS03 transparent plaid shirt for a 36-37" Chest. FYI, HL shirts run ultra small, so when it's marked a 37, that's literally all the room you get. Recommended for 36" chests. Amazing shit.

Holy wow! I wonder if I could pull this one off...So how do you guys buy things from Y! Japan? Do you get a proxy to sign up, bid, receive then send you the goods? Or do you sign up yourself, bid yourself, ship to a proxy and get them to forward it to you?Or do some sellers do international shipping?

Re: Re:
concerning bidding for yourself, y!jp started a shitty policy a few months ago where you have to sign up for their premium service (like 200 yen a month) to bid over 5000 yen.
thing is that you have to pay with a japanese credit card or a bank account from the few japanese banks they accept (neither of which i have, even though i live here) kind of sucks.. since its like 2 dollars but i am too lazy to go make a japanese card or switch banks.. just for the sake of y!jp /endrant
so usually i just haggle the person and 95% of the time they end up selling it to me outside of yahoo.. i tend to stress out until the package comes though since i'm not covered by everything. i've received everything i bought.
anyhow i hear there are some super reliable proxy services.
If anyone wants some buying done for them in tokyo though (non y!jp) feel free to shoot me a pm.

Re: Re:
BTW, Orochian - I have a cool Schonberger sleeveless tee that I would like to give to you. It's too small for me. PM me with your address. All I ask you pay is shipping and PayPal fees.
