Re: Raf cape
Talking of which, Francis in Antwerp have THE Raf cape, from AW99/00 which puts the one above in the shade. Raf lovers will know the one I mean, but here are a couple of video captures to remind you...
Originally asking 300 euros, the shopkeeper said she'd sell it for 230.It pained me to pass over this, but I had to admit to myself I'm not a cape guy at heart. It does look fantastic on, though. Someone get over there and buy it.

Re: as of now, very loooow bid
Like Faust says... there are actually a whole industry in China that is dedicated to making fake stuff. They get so good at it that I have heard from my friends who shop at Burberry, that their store policy is once their merchandise leave their shop they will not accept any returns or exchanges. As Burberry themselves have difficulties trying to distinguish the real and the fake ones. This is the same with LV. I would imagine that anything designer you always have to be weary of when coming out of China.
As for the designer boutique in Shanghai called Three.. I have been to it, and they are closed for good now Orochi, (unless you have other more information than I dont) and they have been closed for a good 1-2 years. They actually did liquidate all their stuff ie Ann and KvA... and someone was selling it on eBay China.. that I am pretty sure it is real.
Like I mentioned before.. the designer fake.. the feasibility of doing it I am not sure.. but I have seen galliano and Dsquared underwear sell for $9.95 coming from China. Whereas Galliano and Dsquared underwear I remember the full retail price is about $150. From that stand point yes it might not be worth it. But remember two things:
1. To make a piece of garment cost actually about $2 so in a way.. the seller are still making money at $9.95 a piece
2. For the retailers to be selling at $150 and it only cost $2... I don't see the justifications... but we have been through that before in the discussion..
Alternatively, maybe much more is made in China than we know of [72]
You meanstuffbeing produced their beingintentionally mismarked or due to finishing in another country? Scary.
How can one ever be sure.
Yep. Orochi maybe right though.

Also.. just FYI.. the same goes with Cosmetics... Check out a brand called Dr. Brandt... on the label it says 'made in USA' but believe it or not, it is made in Asia... from my very well trusted source.
Look also carefully that most of the cosmetics they do not even label where it is made. It is written as 'Distributed by....' That is because they are also made in cheap ass countries and then shipped to USA and Europe and law help them to do it.So you kind of wonder why you are paying $500 for an anti-age cream that cost again may be $2 to make. Just my two cent.. not trying to bitch or anything.. anyway.. back to the topic

Re: as of now, very loooow bid
To be honest, I wouldn't bid on those ^. I highly doubt they're real/authentic.
Jmatsu on the other forum who seems quite knowledgeable when it comes to "high fashion" sneakers (seems to be a bit of a collector, to say the least) said that nearly every single one he's seen online has been a fake. Sellers with many sizes from China tend to be indications of fakery, as well.

Re: re: good finds
Is there a glut of fake Margiela leather bombers on ebay or a lot of authentic Margiela bombers on ebay:
link
I remember seeing something similar in press photos for 06 or 07, but I never saw this in stores. Either way I'm not sure that it's the most attractive jacket.
