They're probably 2001 if they're Fall. I have a nearly identical pair from 2000 that I got from L'Eclaireur, which may have been the first iteration of the twist, but my closures are all hook and eye closures instead of button fly, which if I recall he started doing later. The fabric was much softer, so the pants went straight down and only the puddling around the hem twisted, almost like a boot cut.
