did the model in the scar stitch size down one? i tried on a size 48 and it was too boxy on me. maybe if i tried a size 46 it wouldn't be as awful.

^why the hate?. Thats right Joey, I'm a 48 and got 46 for that jacket and it's not dismal / awful that way.

edit- only dismal thing I'v seen lately is glitter fabric, that shit looks like tablecloth (goth ninja picnic style)

that's what i thought then. i can do a 48 in the leather jacket (although i got the size 50 in the fencing) and i tried on the 48 in this version and it was very boxy on me. i figured a 46 might look better, but i don't think i could zip it though.

i think the glitter fabric doesn't look good in the A photos, but in person it's really interesting. although i haven't seen it on a human form in person though.

So you are still debating between overlock / scar stitch?. I think past seasons overlock is much better.

edit- Random, yes I'm a 48 and can do a 46 in Poell leather without a problem.

edit- That guys sale thread you posted from SF has a j-shaped white jean in 44, someone should grab asap.

thanks. now when i have a picnic in the park my friends can just eat off me. we won't even need to bring napkins because i can just throw the suit in the trash.

maybe a 44 would fit me better but i think the leather in the s/s 07 blows the plasticy feel of this away. it works perfect for the boots, strangely.

i think i've located a s/s07 overlock that i will pick up when the time is right. i also agree that the past season's overlock is much better.

the leather this season is kind of plastic-y. i was really weirded out when i saw the nice clean and shiny zipper rather than the more rugged ykk zipper.

found this the other day seems relevant here. the owner of the library, at the end of the video, holds up a white / grey s/s 07 overlock and says: this jacket, this leather jacket, is probably the best jacket i've ever stocked in the store, we had it in black, we've sold out......this is an iconic fashion piece, this will go down as one of carol christian poell's key pieces...
