There are a number of other details that make them blaringly fake. Ironically, it is the imperfection of the real RO sneaks that makes the perfect fakes look fake. The proportions on the fakes are too perfect, the leather too clean, etc. etc.

It's most clear when you look at the distance between the toebox and the
midsole. The real ones come within 1/4" of the midsole while the fake
ones are uniformly about 1/2" or more.

Furthermore, there is no printing on the inside ankle of the shoe on the real ones.

good call w the sig...i still cant figure out the toebox thing, but its a damn good fake. i thought about the size by the zipper but figured you couldn't see it in the picture.

Reply from the seller: I have also noticed that there is no stamp on the insole like that other auction. Unfortunately I don't know much about rick owens merchandise. I am only selling these cuz they didn't fit me. I bought them from a private seller for 400 dollars so I don't have a store bill or anything.

damn, i guess i'm glad that some people here read "the other place" (why is it called that?). i was going to cross post but i thought people here would already know it's fake because i carry the notion that many of you here own said sneakers

i'm glad that no one has bought it yet, especially from this forum. do you think if many of us report it as a fake it'll get taken down? or Purity, i guess you could try telling him to remove his listing because it's fake [:^)]
