are you guys sure they really are carpe diem boots? I contacted the ebay seller, they said they measured apx. 12" long [which sounds a bit short] and also said no shoe laces are included, which sucks. They said no where on the boots are they marked Cdiem, but the original owner said they were. I am no Carpe Diem expert so any help would me much appreciated.
the cdiem lace ups i have, do not have any discernable logos or lettering saying that it is carpe diem. those who own the boots will be much more helpful!
Yes, Carpe footwear never has logos of any sort of them. Only the first year (maaaaybe second) footwear had a tarnished silver oval Carpe Diem logo in the arch of the sole. Since then, it's been all about construction only.
The silhouette, style, construction are all consistent with Carpe footwear, and the fact that they got a rubber sole put on them too helps boost the fact that they are Carpe.
But then again, I can't be 100% sure that they're Cdiem without touching them. It is annoying that they come sans laces! One would have to buy some thick leather and cut out a long thread in a circular fashion.
cdiem sizing is odd- i think mostly because of the toe shape which gives a lot of leeway- i can wear size 40-42 in cdiem depending on the model. i'm a us9 so i *should* be a 42.
I almost bought a blazer from threedifferent a little while back, but remembered that the seller doesn't mark items as gifts when shipping -- so, at the end of the transaction, I'd get charged up the wazoo in customs. EFF THAT!
