according to japanese webstores the washed lamb leather high collar in S is actually smaller than the XS, I'd pull the trigger on it if you don't mind that it's dark brown instead of black.

It's just the luck of the draw with Rick Owens, isn't it? The measurements would have been taken from their available stock. While their particular small might be smaller than their extra small, this small on Matches might be bigger than another store's medium.
