I guess they just look trashy. I didnt know they were canadian army issue and without that bias they just looked beat up and nasty. Im almost certain you can get them from online army surplus stores for cheap.

dunno bout WW2 era, but you can easily find boots from the 60s in military surplus stores (not online) for ~$25 CAD

$200 USD seems a bit much for that condition
