Actually, you can give it a shot. I have a pair Rick's trainers in 41. Because of the lack of size 41 in the RO combats when I bought mine, I sized up to a 42. No doubt it fits bigger but after breaking them in, it's not that bad and I didn't even add an insole. If it is too loose for you, you can always add an insole and wear thicker socks.

I thought Ann's combat from last season run a size big? A 40 in her boots last season should really be a 41. Anyways, good luck in your hunt.

yeah they ran about a size big so the RO combats might be ok for me, probably too big though.

once the laminate wears off those are actually a very dark green, like the toe of the upper boot in the pic, I have the non laminated version of these (ss06),they have a more fitted ankle than most other ccps

i own these in black, and they're really great. the laminate worked for the bag i own, but that's because it's applied to the inside of the bag.

I have the non laminated ones too and they are the heaviest boots CCP has ever made.

2 monthes ago I took these boots to repair a sewing and the shoemaker just laughed at them:
"Is it for a medieval cosplay?" he asked. "These staples are really ugly. Who the F... made that?" Then I said "actualy, it's hand-made in Italy". "What kind of hands did that...?"

yeah, i have started putting under-soles on some of my boots my self to avoid these simple quips from simple people. its actually reasonable simple if you can find the right materials needed.
