Good finds: I was just at Century 21 in Manhattan, the women's shoe section is insane. Lots of cheap designer shoes and boots. A few Dries, lots of Lanvin, some Chloé, some Rick heels, I saw a pair of Veronique Branquinho boots...Most shoes priced at $170, boots between $200 and $400. It's worth a look.

I was there weekend before last and could not stand it. The store simply stank of people who had not showered, and it was like Yoox had come to life. There may be gems, but they're too difficult to find in between all the rhinestone rubbish and DKNY diffusion disasters.

For MacBook/MacBook Pro users!

I have been watching these prices for a year...I finally bought one. If you have a MacBook w/ mini DVI and like the dual monitor set up (Laptop screen + external monitor) this is the best you can get. I couldn't pull the trigger at $899...but did at 599. They are refurbished...but carry the same warranties. I have bought Apple refurb a couple of other times and they have been as good as new. I also like how there are 3 USB ports in the back too.
