argh, i totally meant to purchase some hussein chalayan and tim van steenbergen trousers last night before i knew about the sample sale and now they are gone. i just hesitate too much. yuck.

The Yoox sale is pretty picked over on the mens side, but there is still lots of nice women's wear left. Picked up a pair of Marsell sandals for someone for 29, and if any woman here is a eu39, there are some nice Pierre Hardy boots for 40.

^thanks for thinking of me! those are beautiful but i can't do heels. (sorry)

i'm a 39 pretty consistently with a somewhat narrow heel. i put my thickest socks on and still my feel only measured about 10.25" so i don't think i could justify the ann dem boots. hopefully they will find a good home.

You know what would be funny - if I ended up buying these back for like $300. I sold my pair, the exact one, for $550 some odd months ago. These boots are beyond gorgeous, these pictures don't do them justice...

and the measurements are a bit weird for a 48 don't you think?

Shoulder seam to shoulder seam: 42 cm

Chest ( armpit seam to armpit seam ): 44 cm

Laika, it will be absolutely divine. Trust me. If you don't buy it, I will and give it to my daughter when she's 16.

P.S. And yes, I'd wear the boots with the knew coat, for that gothic Edwardian ninja look.
