interesting issue by the way. suppose you find a great item being sold for something that, relative to its retail value, seems like a decent or at least reasonable price.. .. does the fact that someone else paid less for it, and would thereby be turning a profit, make the item less attractive?
this is an interesting question........... it pretty much came up with the Carpe Boots that were at EvaGentry.
I could have had them for about $300, but couldn't be bothered to have to stretch them out in hope they would be comfortable. someone bought them and listen then BIN on eBay for $750, more than twice the sale price..........
these days, I have no objection to pure profiteering..........

hmmm. I think a discussion like this has occured in the sellers feedback. I find this subject in a gray area as it's moral vs opputurnity.

I dont think you can argue this in a moral vs opportunity context. there is nothing immoral about trying to make a profit from something that has value based on desirability........how then would that be different from buying stocks/ bonds or whatever at a lower price and selling them when the value 9based on desirability increases?
