If Atelier is any example there is something to be said for actually seeing and trying Julius pieces on in person. They have an incredible sell through every season. Same piece retails for £2325 in London. Which equates to about $3500.
So the mark ups are fairly similar on both sides of the pond for japanese brands.
The average mark up used for non in eu products (in London anyway) is x3.
I have never come across a designer/high end boutique that ever marks up anything as low as 2.2 .
2.5-2.7 is average. 3 for non eu products.merz: your look has all the grace of george michael at the tail end of a coke binge.
