i know he did... there are also really ugly jewels (the plastic dentures earrings are a must), but the difference is they are consistent with the overall aesthetics, where bad taste, fake feeling and awkwardness are never far away.

quick question about yahoo auctions
for a good find, how much higher does the typical starting price escalate to in the end?

Most of the time it's hard to gauge the ending price.

If you check y! frequently and on the designers you like, you'll start noticing how much people will be willing to pay for certain pieces, sometimes you can score some real deals.

On the other hand, if something catches your eye and you don't generally look into that particular designer, you'll have a hard time judging. In that case, I'll just bid whatever I feel is worth it, sometimes you get it for lower if no one bids near your asking bid.

Good finds are worse, you have the Japanese audience and the audience here...I'd say go with your gut feeling.
