Semi off topic, but I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find pictures of the twist seam denim actually being worn. I just can't figure out how they look on the body. Thanks.
Yeah the price is great! There is a white pair of twists on there as well for the same price.
If I didn't have a pair already, I'd definitely get the blue twists. Lovely. I know they came in another colorway (black i think).
To be honest, they're slightly uncomfortable to wear. To generate and maintain that twist, the pants rely on a more slim fit lining which the twisted outer portion is stitched to. This makes them a bit tricky to put on and you have to walk around for a while before they settle into place. The low crotch and butt seam also limit your range of motion.
That's not to say they're not awesome and that people comment every time you rock em :) The color/treatment/texture of the denim used on them is amazing as well. never seen anything like it!
I'm currently working on a black denim pair with white contrast overlock (just put in the lining last night... should hopefully be done by the end of the week with photos!
Oh and someone please please score those Linea boots. It's a goddamn STEAL. I'd get them but the size is risky and I'm saving for my Paris trip next week.
Ddohnggo also posted some paper CCP boots in size 7 on the CCP thread. The price is typical retail ($1500ish) but since only 3 pairs of them were made, it'll be damn near impossible to find them in any size at any price after that pair disappears.
