no, sorry. I mean not the staple, but the sole always get yellowish stain due to some sort of oxidize effect of the staple(base on my high school chemistry education), however the staple itself is not rusted at all.
I never wear mine after bought them from LVR for like 6 months, but when one day I open the box to check it. it has this yellowish stain. tried everything to get rid of it. but nothing succeeded. so I guess I wont worry about the stain. its just a sneaker, just wear them :)

I remember seeing those new and the staples were indeed rusted. I don't recall them being quite that noticeable though.

Brand new 995 baby calf full grain, lined Guidi boots for $760. Call ByGeorge directly and ask for Scott, the men's manager. He's a great guy and will hook you up. I have a pair and they're FANTASTIC. They're running about 1.5 sizes small (true 42, should wear a 43.5).

That store has been around for years but the mens department hasn't always existed. There's one in town near Whole Foods and the other on S. Congress. They've never had anything remotely interesting until recently.

Only the Lamar location has menswear. Their selection isn't the best, but you can occasionally find some really interesting pieces.
