They only use Guidi on some of their jackets...this particular one is not. Easiest way to tell is from the price...you'll see on Yahoo! that some of them are priced reasonably, some are significantly more expensive...type of leather used is often the reason why.

true it is overpriced

the starting bid is around 3500 usd. that is not at all overpriced for the original fencing in Juicy leather. thats barely more than a new rick leather. even the BIN price is reasonable. its on the high end but not unreasonable. especially considering that the jacket appears to be in excellent condition. this is a true grail.

theres a reserve (usually on yahoo they are quite high), not to mention a low start price in an auction style format is no indication of a good deal. particularly on yahoo, sellers can cancel auctions at any time, and i've seen numerous auctions canceled at the last minute because the seller most likely thought the price was too low.

I think they major reason people don't like the braided Guidis is because it's reminiscent of BV. Otherwise I think they don't look bad at all in brighter colours.

I don't dislike them because they're similar to BV...I dislike them for the same reason I dislike BV...they're ugly.
