The Julius Twist J Jeans are the biggest of the lot. I'm a 29-30 US and I have tons of room in the Size 1s. I don't understand the logic behind the FW 08 sizing??

nah. just the "j-jeans" are meant to fit kind of "sloppy"

all their other pants this season fit normally. but yes, size 1 in the j-jeans (which is what i wear) is fracking huge, practically too big for my 29-30 waist.

if you're normally a size 4, a size 3 would likely fit you fine

i have these in size 2 and i'm a 30-31 and i have to wear them w a belt. i forgot to try on the size 1 in tokyo and wrestled w the roominess in my mind for awhile. however now that its cold they've become a go to jean for me in part because they aren't shrink wrapped :) the looser look also looks amazing when tucked into their boots.
