FWIW the joyce here in shanghai is stocking RO this season. They have
the RO (black/white) sneaks this season at a retarded 11,000 rmb
(~$1,500). I'm 99.59% sure they will make it to 50% discount.



And man... the ro leather is THICKKKK this season. Very very substantial. and priced at a cool 24,000 rmb to boot [:|]

Yeap. That was the one they had, they only have it in cigarette brown.
Having tried it on though, I can't say I'm a huge fan of the collar..
it looks really funny when it's not buttoned, I much prefer the high
zip collar jacket that Lowrey bought.

no, you are not the only one :)

or the only two for that matter. I have not tried them on, to witness the fit or QOC, but for what seems to be a pair of AF1 inspired sneaks (am I the only one who thinks that?) EDIT: with a touch of the old converse weapon b-ball shoes thrown in, and what seems yo be an injected outsole (i could be wrong, i assume this) 1k+ is a bit over the top. and yes i think the current season RO combats bear a striking resemblence to timberlands, though i'm sure they exceed them, and not only in price

WinQ, When does stuff at Joyce usually go on sale? I'll be in China for work the last week of November and the first week 1/2 of December. Was looking to maybe stop by Joyce.

tony - IMO the collar only looks good when it's buttoned, otherwise it just falls down and looks ridiculously huge.



cas - I don't think it'll be on sale by then, I'm not 100% though...
they only received the stock in late september so I think they'll be
waiting until 08 at least before sales. I'll ask the next time I'm
there.

Another long shot, but does anyone know where I can find this jacket? I just missed the auction at y!j.

Also, if anyone has any recommendations for alternatives that would also be appreciated. My birthday's coming up and I decided it's about time I get a nice leather jacket. (size xs-s)

Actually it's from The Viridi-Anne. I've never seen a Brato jacket in person. How's the leather on them relative to e.g. RO?
