Are those actually jeans? Although the material is "cotton twill" they look kind of waxed. Any close-ups available, yet?

@mofiya nope they aren't jeans. At least material wise anyway. They are just a twist seam trouser/pant.

T i'm actually very curious about the material. Cotton Twill sounds interesting. I am wondering if it's a similar material to some of the suit material they used, though perhaps a slight stretch to the material as well. if so would you call the material light like Viyella or heavyish like cotton moleskin? Those KKA jeans are nice, if only the hem was more tapered. Looks like they might be the ones with the flared out hems?

^ an unfortunate detail of a lot of japanese jeans is that slight boot cut, the older julius j-jeans were cut like that too.

thanks for the detail shot B, I think that's spot on for the sort of fabric the MA pants will be made from. iirc those cropped pants and the suit from SS09 were made from a 97% cotton, 3% stretch twill which matches T's earlier description.

yea but where does the slight boot cut start? ma+ 5 pockets have a slight boot to them as well but its low enough that still gives a straight/tapered impression plus it accomadates high boots. curious if these are the same because the pic doesnt look too bad with all the stacking...

Yeah they are 97% co, 3% pu. The material is light, like thick-ish suit pants. Does anyone know whether the 2010 MA ones will have jeans pockets or trouser pockets?

jeans pockets with a small extruding inset pocket closed with a snap above the right pocket edge.. Taking place over as a coin pocket I guess.

Nice, will have to wait for the release and measurements to get a better idea of how slim they are. Might be a bit too slim for me :(
