Help finding.....

Well, my uneducated guess would be that mismatched just refers to a series of boots where they took the left boot from one coloring/treatment batch and the right from another.
Maybe someone w inside knowledge can specify?

Irl it means the left vs right boot has irregularities in color/treatment.
In my greenish grey/beige spiral zips it looks like the right boot is very clean and new and the left one is beaten and weathered, but just in the color if you know what i mean...
I don't know how this looks in the black version though

Got mine online with no reference to them being mismatched.
I quite like the effect though.

if i remember correctly, these were the available two shapes for 2009 footwears, stores were also given an adventurous choice to pair these different shapes. mixmix were one of them that got the mismatch.

also, i can't discern from the pic, the distressing might be just at the side of each boot. no?

I also thought that the difference lays in the distressing. Can't really believe that they mix different shapes, that would make no sense fen, no? Looking at the pics I don't see a big difference. Never heard of different shapes before.

mismatched one's may be different color/texture, but that's a risk you run with all ccp shoes. the defining characteristic is that the lasts are different between left and right shoes, with one being markedly more "swollen". you can see this clearly in those rakuten pics of the insoles, as dji pointed out.

Yeah, I tried them on at MixMix -- no real difference in the distressing that I could tell, but the toeboxes were very noticeably different, to the point of being distracting. Not for me.
