Based on my experience, it is really hit or miss according to the tagged size. I tried on a large long blazer in the new fall wool & the spring wool/cotton blend and found that they were too big in the chest/body area. The shoulders were great as was the sleeve length.
I also tried on a light brown tweed in medium that fit almost perfectly except the sleeves were a couple inches too short. In a small grey wool, the shoulders were good but the body was too tight.
I've only found the tweeds come up super small. I had to size up to a large for this seasons black tweed, and even then I could probably make an extra large work well with layering. I picked up the leather pocket blazer and took a medium as the large was massive. All my other ph jackets are medium and fit perfectly.
And coming back to an earlier post I have 3 jackets with heavy cotton material tags and 2 with the silk/gauze. Not sure if there is a reason for the variation.
you can't polish a turd, but you can roll it in glitter...
Also good to know Eton and ABS about the tags and sizing. Harnden continues to boggle hahaha
I'm looking for the pants to this suit:
My brother just gave me his special order 3 piece A/W 04 elbow strap blazer suit but the pants are a size too small even after letting them out fully.
Someone please let me know if you have these pants in a size 34.
I've included the images of the fabric as well as the runway shot for reference. Suit is black with a shadow stripe to it. I utilized flash in some of the pictures to show the fabric details.
