The reason nobody is answering you on here or sufu about this is because you're looking for something that only exists in the photo as an optical illusion.
The 'drop crotch' doesn't fall below the knee as you mentioned. It's the shadow of the tail end of the overcoat that has blocked that area off.
If you look closely, you can see that. It's like the swing pant or the typical, traditional knit pant with drawstring that Rick has been doing for so long.
If you want something where the crotch falls below the knee, look into older CDG drop pants or just go on Ebay and search 'harem pant.'
As far as your comment about wanting to wear boots with them (from sufu), tons of people wear Rick's knit version with boots. Just because they are knit and have an elastic top doesn't mean you can't wear boots with them.
If all else fails, go to the guy you took that photo from and ask him. He will confirm, I suspect, what I just told you about the drop of those pants.
Thanks for the info. really? from that far back? How much was retail?
Also, is there a hooded version or is this it? and what is the material btw?
There is a hooded version. I had in a blue colour in size Medium. It was to tight for me around the armholes/across the back; I'm a reasonably muscular 48.
Material is waxed cotton I believe. Can't remember retail for the one in the picture but for the version I had retail was around 900 euro.
Looking for this season's Rick merino wool sweater with hood and sleeves. The one that has pockets and has a single button closure by the shoulder. Medium or Large. In black. If anyone knows of a retailer that still has it, thanks in advance for the tip!
Anyone know of a stockist that still has Rick silk/viscose short sleeve t's in stock in XS (at sale prices)? Any color or neck style will do, just looking to stock up before everything is gone for the season.
looking for this lost & found jacket in size MEDIUM
Have you checked the measurements on that because if it's true to other L&F jackets, it's probably really oversized. Archive has one in S...you should call and check the dimensions because it you can run a small, it's a pretty good deal on it.
