Some of the pieces have already dropped at the Uniqlo here (Shanghai, China). Went today and picked up the vest and jacket. Will update this with actual pics shortly, the vest and jacket also come in white.

the vest has subtle stripe pattern going down, and a cinch in the back.

the jacket is a size too big on me, fits like a true S.. unlike the vest. has a huge oversized detachable hoodie.

I just spoke to the manager of the Regent Street Uniqlo shop in London. I was very diappointed to hear that they will not be getting any Designers Invitation Project menswear clothes at all from now on because past lines didn't sell. This seems to include the Plokhov line, which she had not heard of. Has anyone else heard anything about its availability in the UK?

I wanted the shorts and the polo so bad....

The good thing about these capsule collections is that they don't seem to be as limited as say the guest designer collections for H&M. It's a nice thing in this case hehe.

does this stuff actually fit well? quality is pretty atrocious from what i've heard - more so than should be expected even considering the price.

I wondered that too. It'd be interesting to hear from anyone who has tried any of it on. Particularly the smock shirt and the polo.

I'm a pretty true IT 46, I bought a medium jacket, a small smock shirt, and a small pair of shorts. They all fit me fine, the jacket is a little roomy, but I'm digging the bigger top look right now (I considered buying the large). The smock shirt is neither too tight nor too loose. The shorts are really long. The fit is spot on, but they're not so flattering on me. I would have liked to see the pants and polos. I did see an XS in one of the button downs.

I have the black vest and I have to say the quality is terrific. I love the cut and fit, it seems that these didnt make it overseas though. If you can buy this vest, I highly recommend it. After getting the vest, I just put in an order for white jeans, black shorts, and the black work shirt, I will let you know how those work out when they arrive.

Hmm, thanks for the information about the UK Uniqlo's. I talked to the manager at the Oxford St. location and he said if any were to receive the collection, it would be Regent St. Such a shame considering that even when the summer sales do hit the UK it'll like buying them at regular price in the US.
