Geezor;
Musuems and art galleries are pretty easy to navigate (for the main ones at least), MusuemsQuartier is within easy reach of most subway stations and is very compact now, so you can easily spend a half day to a day wandering around here. Best bets are the MUMOK and Kunsthalle Wien (next door to each other). Didn't check out the Leopold Museum but it's also said to be excellent. There's a number of places to eat around here as well; Halle Cafe, Cafe Restaurant MILO and MQ Daily all great stops for a break any time of day or night. Across the road towards the Imperial Palace are the heavy hitters, Kunsthistorisches Museum and Naturhistorisches Museum - Kunsthistorisches will easily eat through an afternoon; a simply stunning collection and building. If you're into architecure, worth checking out the Secession Building across town too. Top of my list though would be the MAK. Great exhibitions and a thoroughly pleasant space, great dining as well at Österreicher im MAK. Shopping wise I'd suggest PARK is a great place to start, but didn't spend a lot of time on the retail front so will leave this to someone else. Feel free to PM me for more info, spent a thoroughly researched 4 days there in January and loved it.
