Are there any recommendable shops to visit to find Paul Harnden in London and Paris?

SPRMRKT (ROZENGRACHT 191-193) (Saberi, Y.Project, Gongini, Helmut Lang, A.F. Vandevorst and more)
Ennu (Cornelis Schuytstraat 15) (Demeulemeester, Owens, Ackermann and more)

Both have great sales at the moment.

Patron of the New in Tribeca and Hotoveli in West Village.

Skip Aloha Rag. Graymarket is a MUST.

To be honest, unless you plan to walk through Central Park, I wouldn't give Barney's much thought.

I think you have everything else covered. Next season will be super-exciting for New York retail.

Thanks. DJI, I just read that Aloha Rag closed a few days ago.

I'm not sure if it was mentioned but I'd add Project No. 8 to the NYC list, they have Bless and MMM and Siki Im and Mykita glasses and other neat brands (at both their Chinatown location and the pop up in the Ace hotel)

And Dries van Noten and Stephan Scneider. However, I'd say the Chinatown location is hardly worth the schlep for SZers and the Ace hotel one is a bit of a joke.

Interesting, I agree the Ace hotel sub could stand to be bigger (and not in the Ace hotel) but I'm a sucker for Isaac Reina so if I'm in Chinatown I try to stop by.

They're also pretty good examples of the "continuity between the people who sell the clothes and the clothes themselves" you mentioned earlier, since the people behind the counter help run/design Various Projects, which doesn't get that much attention on SZ but it has the potential to be great (like an American Maison Kitsuné).

Agreed. They are what they sell.
