Yea, I would most likely just cut them. I would maybe try and tie them around the ankle, but that would probably get irritating really fast!

I have a question about Carpe Diem's sizing. Do they usually run true
to size? I was wondering how the length of a pair of size 39
C.Diems would run. I wear a size 41 in Cloaks boots, and my feet
measure about 25cm in length and my favorite most comfortable boot is
about 29.5 cm in total length. Is 39 nowhere close to that?

my feets are 27cm and sz 40 fits snug. bought a pair of 39 before and i can barely put them on. irrc they are 11.75 inches heel to toe.

irrlicht,is the size of your foot from heel to toe 27cm? without
socks on? This may change things somewhat.Iusually wear size 9-10
because i have rather wide feet, but if there's the classic carpe
diem huge footbox i might be able to squeeze into some 39s. What do you
think? my feet are 25cm long and 10cm wide at the widest point.

i'd go with 40's at the very least. i'm a 9-9.5 with wider feet and i can wear cdiem 40-42.

I don't get Marsell (except maybe some of the sneakers). Who wears their shoes and with what? In my mind, they just make me think of japanese hosts.

The high Augusta boots are looking good.

Marsells generally seem a bit overdesigned. Liking these boots from LVR FW07 though:

And I really like the brogues Ipicked upfrom threedifferent. Color and tone are great (love the scratched violet tinged front).

The Augusta boots are ok.... I finally got to see Augusta in person and the square toe on his laceup boots are just meh to me. Still haven't gotten to see the zipup boots. The leather is great but it's so.... Guidi haha

Marsells can definitely be overdesigned but someone on here was selling their kangaroo leather hi-top sneakers from Marsell and those were lovely. Still hoping to come across a pair of those bad boys!
