Aitor's article on vol 4 and Steidl on vol 5 were excellent. The first one because I had no idea how fascinating was the concept and process behind his designs. The second one because people need to know what we lose if we only buy Taschen books when it comes to art books.

I didn't know about Katsu Naito, truly beautiful work. After living for a while in Japan, I'm always happily surprised when I discover a japanese person so different from the people I used to meet there. Thanks for making me discover his work.

that is a beautiful editorial. of course i was focused on the menswear, which is well styled and includes some less obvious choices. the Noir Kei Ninomiya designs are definitely cool and complex and thoughtful. but man i hope the materials and execution are top quality. otherwise some of those designs can come off as gimmicky and cheap feeling. just my opinion...
