I live in a younger neighborhood across the river from an affluent part of Tokyo, it's fun to take a 20-minute walk and see the Louis Vuitton bags and oversized sunglasses gradually turn into Goyard totes and baby strollers

If you'd like some truly horrifying ethnography, you could have a look-see around my part of the country, where Carhartt is king, and worn with irony by hipsters and legitimately by farmers. Northface is too bourgeois, Patagonia too crunchy, and my RO leather has people inquiring after the make of my "ride."

Exactly, my money would've been on Alexander Wang to jump over earlier than some of the recent collaborators. Just seems easier to inject some Alexander Wang into H&M because Alexander doesn't seem to go too far out of the box.

It's pretty understandable that fashion is much about debauchery, folly of vanity and satan, but since when photo shoots in mainstream magazines got really fucking creepy? lol
