+1 on Oswald Boateng. Had a killer deep purple mohair suit from him years ago. Tailoring was razor sharp. Also would add Sam Lambert and Shaka Maidoh from Art Comes First. Not sure if Sam is still working for Spencer Hart but he cuts a great suit as well!

His Saville Row shop still operates. Walked by it last week.

And, yes, Ahimsa, I could not agree more with that silly animated character. What's more, I think you should not only have respect for yourself, but for those around you. More and more I've been thinking along those lines - that you dress up out of respect for others. It's akin to having good manners.

Grantland made me read about sports I don't watch or know the rules of. It seemed self-evident that the website was the type of niche product that could still have a relatively wide-reach but then we're on the internet where revenues are gathered through having a massive amount of visitors so clickbait+generic+wide in scope = survival of the massive and useless.

I spent £250 on a Yeezy t-shirt and all I got was regret.

Although the fact that I am a massive Kanye fan certainly had something to do with it, this isn’t really about him – it’s about consumerism (which ironically enough, he’s been critical of in the past).

Bit of a hyperbolic sensationalist piece, considering all they had to do was return it for a refund.

Yea, but I thought it captured something interesting about the nature of hype and impulse shopping. I especially liked the part about finally trying it on and looking ridiculous. I wonder how many people have finally purchased their sought after grail only to realize they look silly when they put it on.
