moved into the new house this week, really love it. kids are well adjusted. got first mortgage bill and it looks like clothing will be taking a back seat for quite a while.

the more "grails" i buy, the more let down i am. i am consistently more satisfied with good deals.
also im growing tired of buying stuff online from random people in far away countries. i have a new found comfort in purchasing from a retail store in person. if only there was more availability of size 44.

Among other things, New HL suck at naming materials. A dark wax-finished washed denim is described as 'Scorpion', and a textured pebbled leather is 'Volcanic Leather'.

Sounds better than your descriptions at least? I dunno about others, but I'd much prefer to think I'm wearing volcanic leather than 'textured pebbled leather' haha.

So far, 90% of what I've seen for FW has been uninspiring/uninteresting. I don't feel like folks are pushing the envelope and instead are just putting out things that are either too safe or just terrible.

I'm awaiting Sruli's newest collection to start being posted.
