Oh okay! Never heard of him, never going to check him out. I'm actually more interested in the construction than any replication of CCP products. I just wanted to learn more. Thanks for explaining Law, you don't have to worry I won't be trying to sell goldsam limited edition Linen Lockstitch jackets on the classifieds.

Thanks, glad you liked it. I'd also enjoy getting to vicariously experience stuff like CCP, Taichi, etc., though unfortunately I don't know of other bloggers or magazines that write this sort of stuff. Do you (or anyone else) know of anything similar out there?

I saw a promo vid for (skater) Chad Muska's new shoe coming out, and it was, I don't have the words for it. It's like a bad Y-3 x Sailorism promo vid. Not really a big deal I guess, fashion trickles down, but I can't help but feel some kind of way about it when in my mind, skating is about the opposite.

Supra is not really a skate company though... Even nike/adidas/converse are now considered more skate-focused than Supra ever was.

But, Muska is a legend and has always taken a strange path through things, so I can't hate him for it.

And Supra, despite how hideous they are, are more interesting design-wise than Fear of God, Yeezy, Vlone, Vetements, and tons of other hyped streetwear.
