i guess that explains why so many of us are married?
Don't forget that these people are #menswear aficionados AKA former nerd that act like they're former jocks in the vain hope that their luck will turn and said girls will talk to them and even let them put their little pricks in their coochies.
"AVANT GUARDE HIGHEST FASHION. NOW NOW this is it people, these are the brands no one fucking knows and people are like WTF. they do everything by hand in their freaking secret basement and shit."
i feel there isnt hate for him. there isnt really anything for him. he doesnt present anything terribly good or terribly bad it's just very middle of the road/uninspired/boring and therein lies the problem. after years and years his voice is very dull and isnt saying much as a designer.

i agree that sometimes he can be super boring. and his early collections are ridiculous. but when he aims for something more than just classic suits or urban sportswear - he's great. and the clothes are always top-notch in terms of materials and overall quality. also i think that he's doing a good job at dior homme, especially with the draped silhouette.
I would never have expected Steve Jobs to be that influential on fashion. He is the only starting point I can think of for the New Balance hysteria over the last few years that is still contagious.

AFAIK the NB hysteria comes from the hiking/outdoorsy trend and was pushed heavily by Japanese magazines and stylists. They had Japan only models for yrs and I very much Jobs had much to do with it.
