the jacket looks great mail-moth. Personally I'd pair it with black pants/jeans due to the color of the Cloak jacket.
You beat me by just a couple of hours purchasing it ;)
Back in the day I tried it on in the store and found the color a bit difficult to pull off with anything other than black (on the lower half of my body). Olive/gray/black makes it tricky.
I think the jacket looks good in that outfit. Grey is a good neutral as it can go with both black and brown IMO. And I don't think he could change the pants and leave the shoes. The blue jeans go a lot better with oxblood than black would.
Good outfit Mail-Moth. Have fun tonight.

In fact, the jeans on this picture are not that blue : it is a very dark indigo, almost black. Matches very well with the dark olive IRL. I don't know why I go on messing up the colors every time I try to take a picture. It always ends with exagerated contrasts like that. Frustrating.
I'm not sure about black pants, however ; I'd rather try dark greys. Black would reduce the possibilities of varying the upper part color combinations, I'm afraid. And I want to keep it as open as possible - with browns and blues, for instance. I still have to think about it.
Chant always looks great when sitting in the subway.

A raw denim would definitely be nice here, you're right MM could just be the color contrasts and the suck ass monitor I'm using here at the hospital library.
I like that you play with colors... In a way I'm envious but at the same time I'm very comfortable in my near-monochromatic wardrobe. Where others have color I go for textures and pattern :)
and Chant, great summertime outfit! Simple clean and sharp!
