On the other hand, I'm really glad that people do make actual comments about fit. It's bizarre that people get backlash for making constructive comments about personal style. that's what the forum is about, not just "keep your mouth shut unless you are drooling over some item, everyone's opinion is different so no one should have an opinion."
Comments about fit and style are the only things that lead to interesting posts and keep the forum from being a "I kopped" "omg I copped 2" forum.

Spot on. Sometimes it seems that people are avoiding commenting anything of substance on fits posted by members they know, or they think they know, or they would like to know. And the same people are only too happy to shower some less fortunate with status/sense of style with aggressive/sarcastic remarks. I am all for criticism, but let's not be hypocritical.

It's almost impossible making a any type constructive/criticizing remark on a well known established members fit without facing backlash.

This results in less commenting due to fear of backlash, thus making this thread less productive. We all need to grow and develop our own style, no one should take many of things here seriously, everything should be taken with a pinch of salt.

No one should fear commenting on someone style and should be encouraged to do so.
