With m.a, I’m usually a 48 and this is a 48. I could probably have done the 46 but it's unlined and I want to be able to wear thick stuff underneath, like my Forme hoody. I also think when it's broken-in, it will look and feel much more comfortable. The leather is so fucking thick, its nuts, but you can see it breaking in around the arms already. I’m so excited about it. For the next 20 years, it’s just going to get better and better!!!

Of course I got a good price, it’s from my store (Pollyanna)! I think that we were the only ones to do this blazer in this leather. It's so heavy, it's not really a commercial buy. But it's worth the effort to break in!

i understand that the blazer must be difficult to wear tightly but it looks a bit to big in these pics.. Unless it's just a trick the camera is playing on me?

edit: okies.. answered just before i posted..

Navigating arms in and out of the reverse side of the leather can be a serious challenge. The cut on the raglan this F/W season is fuller than what we've seen the last couple seasons. The arm holes are cut slightly wider as well, so a more relaxed fit through the arms. It might not be a bad thing to size down from your typical m.a+ sizing. Though the fuller cut definitely results in a very comfortable fit. That leather is insanely thick. Great buy Hobo!

The fit is actually pretty good. I think its the way the lapel is sitting that kind of makes it look larger than it is. Once the leather is broken in it should look great. This is a lifetime piece.

Thanks, I think so. You can't wear this jacket too tight or it rides up on the shoulder. It's not meant to be tight.

+ check the photo from yesterday, where it's inside out. It definitely doesn't look big there. That's why I'm wearing it like that until it breaks in.

Thanks, and yes it is. I thought it was the best of his spring/summer stuff this year. Hoping there's more like this on the way (more vintage fabrics, sharper tailoring, etc.). Was there any other version of the work shirt produced?

I don't know if there were other versions, I just couldn't tell from the pics if it was the same piece.

The fabric on the Atelier close ups looks really interesting on this, I wish I could grope it in person.
