    I'm so fucking angry that I can hardly see to type. Because of my respect for Faust and the work that he's done creating and maintaining this forum I will refrain from saying what I would like to, apart from to say that I am here because I find the discussion interesting and enjoy commenting from time to time. This is borne out by the discussion that I had with Faust when I first met him in Paris, when I said to him that I didn't do forums because I couldn't stand reading posts by idiots who thought that they knew about a subject just because they know what they like! This is the only forum that I post on. If it were a purely commercial enterprise I would be posting on all the other inane, wank forums, to make money. I also thought that the members here might find my posts of some interest, as I have 20 years experience in Fashion, resulting in historical and technical knowledge, as well as being acquainted with many of the designers whom you are discussing. Of course there is a commercial aspect to me being here, but it is secondary to the fact that I just like chatting with you guys. I would also point out that when I have posted in any other thread apart from the Pollyanna thread; I have always done it with respect and tact. I do not mention Pollyanna, or current stock. On the few occasions that I have, I have done so because it was relevant to the conversation and I have asked Faust’s opinion first.

    This thread is not and will never be a commercial thread. I have absolute confidence that Faust would not allow that to happen. I really cannot understand this hysterical reaction to a group of people, whose interest in fashion was so strong that they became involved in the industry, giving you the benefit of their experience, for free. DHC is one of the most knowledgeable fashion people I have ever met. Why the fuck would you not want to see what he’s wearing? And I have to say that theadict and btbam also seem to know their shit. You would have to be a complete idiot to even consider stopping them posting because you’re worried that they may actually further their businesses in the process! Why not let Faust worry about that shit, he’s actually pretty good at it.

    I’d better stop now I’m getting myself fucking worked up again and I’m going to end up saying something that I’ll regret!

    ...I just have to add this;
    I’m absolutely baffled by this argument. To my knowledge, no one, and I mean no one, from any store has posted anything that looks anything like spam... of any fucking kind! I just cannot why you would not want these people’s opinions or to see what they are wearing! This just seems like a piss-poor excuse to gang up and persecute a bunch of good people for no fucking reason. What the fuck is wrong with you?

      Don't be mad - these kind of arguments always happen. You can't satisfy everyone. I know how passionate you are about fashion, and if you are misunderstood, it's not your fault.

            In all seriousness - this barrage of accusation of affiliates was uncalled for. I have met most of you in real life, and I know you are good people for whom fashion is not simply business. So, it's retarded to try and separate passion and business.

            You see, in real life, you get to sit down with a friend for a beer or five and talk at length about your view of the world, your philosophy of life, your passions and the things you like. On the Internet forums it's much harder - people jump to conclusions and level accusations at will. That is why I can see how sometimes when you or Dave say, "Hey, this store is great, buy from them" can seem like circle-jerking. And I know it's not, because you both know and respect each other in real life, but many other members don't know that. So, perhaps we can all start by approaching things civilly, instead of leveling accusations.

                ... And no, this cap is not object-dyed with horse-piss. I don't know what happened with the light here. It is light grey, actually, when the jacket is medium.
