MonaDahl – For some reason I always gravitate towards olive-ish and black as a color combination but I could see a deep earth tone looking just as good. I was wearing these unembellished blackish-brown loafers but I don't have a picture of them... They were essentially grandma shoes as I needed to do a lot of walking.

The tank is short indeed, but it's meant to be, and I've choosen it on purpose to show the shorts thoroughly.
But I can understand that one finds it too short - especially if you're used to see the overlong RO tanks.

size advice

SA's/shop owners aren't always the most accurate sources of information, sadly. ( ive got responses from darklands to the tune of "what size are you normally in Ann, buy that size. ex im always an XS and always buy XS." which i consider terrible advice having worked in an Ann Boutique and being familiar with a lot of her garments/ a lazy attempt to make a quick sale

I felt your comment required an (extremely rare) posting from me. When responding to an enquiry regarding size it is of paramount importance to us, to advice correctly, as nothing is more of a headache than dealing with an item that was the wrong size, for either party. To that end, I can tell you that we have about a 97% success ratio, with all of our brands. I have been selling and wearing Ann Demeulemeester for 15 years and I will add that it is one of the easier brands to correctly identify size on. I cannot remember, the last time we received back a piece of Ann for being the wrong size . . . so something must be working.
