poell's idea to enlarge and distort the alignment of digits make sense for a costume party, but make no sense in actual wear. i've always thought it strange that the glovewear molds to your hand which would appear to become a type of second skin, yet the fingers cartoonish narrative might as well have a baseball glove attached to it, fumbling for a grounder.
