Button up boots I believe, more than likely from his interesting collection of 1910's/20's footwear. Looking good, merz & fink.
let us raise a toast to ancient cotton, rotten voile, gloomy silk, slick carf, decayed goat, inflamed ram, sooty nelton, stifling silk, lazy sheep, bone-dry broad & skinny baffalo.

I've been wanting button up boots for so long, have had trouble finding even a single pair, let alone in my size.

Those boots are really nice, i own a pair myself but they have huge, scar-like stains from being exposed to salted roads last winter.

your calf's seems a bit too muscular for the tightness of the jeans, imo

There are a few companies that make rtw button boots but they are still very hard to find. There is a high end division of Foot the Coacher called The Authentic Shoe Co. based in japan that makes a 1920's replica pair. Otsuka also makes a button boot with a few color/material options. John Varvatos made a pair last fw. Bespoke is always an option, I have seen bespoke pairs from JM Williams, John Lobb and Martegani and a few from various individual shoe makers.

other way around dude, shrinkwrapped jeans are too tight for even skinny legs. tucking them in also looks awkward with that type of boot.

i somewhat agree with mike here, denim-leggings dont work with wide-ankle boots a lá 60s. For that outfit i would go with a pair of derbys instead.

Apart from the rather obvious cardigan / Cheap Monday pants mix it looks okay. I don't understand the problem with tight pants at all. They look great tucked into boots or folded up. Black leather derby's are everybody's choice in Germany and, from what I have seen one year ago, in Stockholm as well.
