      zam...
you look very handsome in a hood, mister!

galia, i had never heard of Maud Frizon before, but the shoes sound good...i am, out of necessity, a practical footwear queen myself.

Close-ups of the shoes please Galia! They did look nice in the pic. Yeah, middle heels only seem acceptable on boots to me. Seriously though, I don't think there's anything worse than kitten heels.

sorry I know I already commented on this, but what about:

lose the cardigan (not that I don't like it, it is pretty cool) and the tops and the cross but keep the other necklace. add a black, dark grey, or navy blue top and a blazer.

I think this is kind of weird advice. You're basically saying "wear a completely different outfit."

The problem with that GBS coat is to wear it without looking contrived - or costumed, which is likely to happen with that kind of antic pattern.

So I found this idea of wearing it partially unbuttoned, along with a comfy red scarf. Wearing the J-pants in this context was a bit risky maybe, since they look a lot like gaiters - but I wanted to give them a try anyway.

Agreed. The rest works very well.

I like the color combo mail-moth, the pants do look a little odd, but it almost works, especially since designers like Ann D, Damir Doma, and Tim Hamilton have been pushing long johns as pants recently.

Looking good zamb, i like the details on the pants and that bag looks great!

^^^ I don't know if it's an optical illusion but all of your tops seem too short for you. I do like the jacket itself though.

                            ^yeah, agree.

is it supposed to be cropped?

Well, the low angle I usually have to take the pic from makes my legs look super long and torso short.

But also the last couple cloak jackets I posted are supposed to be cropped, if you look on the runway, there's just as much sweater pokin' out:

I could have gone with a grey sweater that would probably be less noticeable, but I thought the brass buttons showing at the bottom looked kinda cool...

I also think that looking at enough Rick/Ann/DD will make you think anything less than crotch length is too short. I do own longer jackets, but most of my fall outerwear is on the shorter side.

Size small, i dunno, there's room enough for a thick sweater under it.
