Usually think your colour matching is pretty spot on, but this outfit has one too many colours for me. Either the grey skirt should be brown(er) or the l/s a cooler colour. Or lose the red.
Like I said, I think one shade should go, I vote for the red. But really, whatever... you couldn't look bad if you tried.

I like the overall look, Mona, but I agree with MrBeuys on the L/S colour : something a little softer in shade and a little less "shiny" in texture, would probably have been a perfect choice.

The combo does look better in image two, but over all I still like the first image better. Your complexion is a little grey in the second shot. I think you need some sun on your skin!

Well, leather pants were more popular, back in the day, but I just like the slightly awkward juxtaposition. I like to call it 'Edwardian punk', although I admit my chronology may be a little askew.

I think I'm with the Moth man on this one, although Joseph is right about the colour, I think that Moth's solution is a more interesting one. I'm also of the opinion that it's the fabric texture that is slightly more jarring than the colour combo.

Granted that MonaDahl could apply a different l/s shirt to even out the midtone, perhaps she prefers it because the cut on those sleeves match better over anything else she has in her wardrobe at the moment and she is still experimenting possible combinations.

The knuckle ring with the sheen shirt (Vivienne Westwood influence), it helps steer away from recognizing the everything as high end fashion by adding a hint of spunk.

I would think without having the l/s sleeves to bring out a little sheen to the mix, the whole outfit may look a bit mundane. All the pieces would've been thrown up without any particular highlight or accents.
