I think there is something amiss with that quote.

Your first picture is unedited, but the second one blurs your face. We know what your face looks like, so it seems strange that the second picture has a facial blur.An artist is not paid for his labor, but for his vision. - James Whistler

Looks great Mona!
Not sure about the leather pants Hobo, something about the combo of GBS historical designs + leather pants= renaissance fair patron.
A bit looser for me

Originally posted by MonaDahlHmm, thanks guys. I think the shirt/vest combination works better irl, the long sleeve is less shiny, and darker. This is a more accurate color representation
Like I said, I think one shade should go, I vote for the red. But really, whatever... you couldn't look bad if you tried.
PS: Nevermind the spot over your face, but what's the other one hiding?Hi. I like your necklace. - It's actually a rape whistle, but the whistle part fell off.

I like the overall look, Mona, but I agree with MrBeuys on the L/S colour : something a little softer in shade and a little less "shiny" in texture, would probably have been a perfect choice.
And thanks for the compliment above - I could say the same about your outfits, actually.I can see a hat, I can see a cat,
I can see a man with a baseball bat.

Granted that MonaDahl could apply a different l/s shirt to even out the midtone, perhaps she prefers it because the cut on those sleeves match better over anything else she has in her wardrobe at the moment and she is still experimenting possible combinations.
The knuckle ring with the sheen shirt (Vivienne Westwood influence), it helps steer away from recognizing the everything as high end fashion by adding a hint of spunk.
I would think without having the l/s sleeves to bring out a little sheen to the mix, the whole outfit may look a bit mundane. All the pieces would've been thrown up without any particular highlight or accents.
